The large shaded stone patio has both propane and charcoal grills and a 4 person dining table and an 8 person picnic table. The living room offers large windows with amazing lake views. The dock is great for boating, fishing, sunbathing, floating, and swimming. We are located 20 minutes South of Graham, 90 minutes West of DFW, & 90 minutes East of Abilene. The kitchen, dining, and living area is an open concept space. The kitchen has a 13 ft island, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, stove, and oven. The living room has a large dining room table that will seat 10, pool/ping pong table, couch and loveseat, and TV with Dish Network & Netflix. The water is 25 - 30 feet deep off the dock and has bumpers and ties along the side to tie-down a boat. The shoreline off the patio is steep and rocky and is not suitable for small children. There are steps down to the water from the walkway. We have fed the fish (Catfish & Carp) for many years. They will come to the shore and walkway when you give them pieces of bread or dog food. You will also see a few hummingbirds that migrate to our cabin every year. Paddle Sport Rentals, LLC will delivery Paddle Boards and Kayaks to the cottage, let me know if you'd like to reserve some of these for your trip. Possum Kingdom Lake offers a variety of options for guests to rent boats and personal watercraft or hire a guide for a fishing trip. There are boat launches within a few miles of the property. **NO PETS ALLOWED ** We have security cameras on the outside of the house. While swimming in our large pool enjoy views of the lake! There's a big tanning ledge and bar stools on the opposite side in the shade. There is plenty of outdoor seating around the pool to lay in the sun. You can play a game of darts. Be sure you bring your own portable speaker to enjoy music by the pool! Gas grill on front porch & charcoal grill outback (charcoal is NOT provided). You have access to the main house. The garage is not accessible to guests. **All vehicles including boats, jet skis, etc must be parked in the driveway. No parking allowed on the grass. Our property manager is available in emergency situations and her information can be found in the binder in the dining room. The master bedroom has a king bed and TV. There is wall fire/heat unit to produce extra heat in the winter. There is a closet for storage. The master bath is connected with a shower. Bedroom 2 has a king bed. This bedroom opens to the living area. There are french doors that also lead into bedroom 3. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and views of the pool and lake. You will pass through bedroom 2 to access bedroom 3. The living area has plenty of seating with two sofas, two recliners and two leathers chairs with ottomans. Everyone has a place to sit! There is a TV with satellite channels and a fireplace. Outside the screened in porch has a fireplace and a table with chairs with darts. There are two restaurants nearby: Fox Hollow and Possum Hollow. Possum Hollow offers carry-out pizza. Both also offer boat slips that you can rent which is a good option since our property does not have a dock. You might need to book in advance. Possum Hollow has a convenient store for any last minute items you might have forgotten. If you would like to rent a boat those options are on the east side of the lake. *Please note that our pool service comes weekly on Wednesday and does their best to be finished by 4:00pm. The pool service must be completed weekly to ensure the pool is clean. This is non-negotiable. *Please keep in mind that this is an older home in a country setting. While we love our property and do our best to maintain it, occasionally insects make their way inside. We keep some spray under the sink in case it is needed. One for insects and one for wasps. *There are a few stair steps on all porches with no hand railing. There is also no hand railing in the pool.

Our beautiful lakefront property includes a panoramic view of PK, two level dock with sandy beach water front, large grassed yard, and a large patio area shaded by trees. If you need an area for pets, we have a small dog run as well! Perfect for a weekend getaway for small or large family family vacations. Also our home would be ideal for small retreats. Our guests enjoy the deer that come to the yard as well as the beautiful sunsets. Although our normal limit is 12 people per stay, we often allow larger groups. This 3 bed/3 bath sleeps 9 and is located in Caddo Creek – a fisherman’s dream. The kitchen features a large peninsula with seating for 5, stove, microwave, dishwasher, side by side fridge and Keurig. Several covered outdoor seating areas are perfect for gathering, while taking in the lake views, playing games in the washer pit or cooking on the gas grill. The dock features a nighttime green in-water fishing light. Dock has owners boat stored on it but you can tie up on the sides of the dock. The living room offers large widows with amazing lake & sunrise views. The two-story dock is great for fishing, sun bathing and swimming. We are located 30 minutes South of Graham, 90 minutes West of DFW, & 90 minutes East of Abilene. Shady Shores is great for all ages and is tucked away in a quite, family friendly cove. Not to be rented for parties or social gatherings. We are also a pet free rental, sorry for the inconvenience. The water is 12' deep at the dock to accommodate any size boat, and the shoreline has a gradual slope into the water, perfect for swimming. Possum Kingdom Lake offers a variety of options for guests to rent boats, personal watercraft, or hire (sign-up) for a guided fishing trip. My home was built in 2012, 4 bedrooms, 3 bath 2600 sq. ft. 2 story. This home sleeps 8 with comfort. One bedroom with queen bed is located downstairs, with a nice size bath just steps away. This bathroom consist of a walk in shower only. The two other bedrooms (queen beds) upstairs share a full bath that consist of a walk in shower. The master bedroom with a king size bed, has full view of the lake, has a walk in shower and a garden tub. There is a Keurig coffee maker and all necessary appliances to make you feel as if you are at home. Step outside onto the patio with a beautiful fire pit for your use. You can sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the nice breeze with the fire keeping you warm. A dock is NOT on this property, but you can easily beach your boat on the sandy beach. A charcoal grill is provided. We also have cornhole boards, paddle board and inside games and DVD player with many movies. There is enough room for 4-6 cars in the driveway. 2 miles up the road you can launch your boat at Bug Beach, it is free and you can park your truck. You can also enjoy the Walk/Bike trails just 2 miles away. My property is in the central part of the peninsula; you can get to Hells Gate or to Bonitaville Restaurant within 20 minutes by boat. Nice lake cabin located on The Peninsula on Possum Kingdom Lake facing south across from Hogs Bend. A private boat ramp allows quick and easy access to the lake and a private dock is perfect for leaving your boat in the water during your vacation. The cabin is newly renovated with new beds and some new furniture. The kitchen has all of the needed amenities with breakfast bar and 4 bar stools for extra seating. A 6 person dining table allows your plenty of room to spread out. The living and kitchen windows have a nice view of a St. Augustine yard, the lake, and private dock. A washer and dryer is easily accessible just off the kitchen area. The new couch pulls out into a full bed. The master bedroom has a king bed and an additional twin bed for extra sleeping room. The en suite bathroom includes a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom contains a queen bed. The en suite bathroom has a walk in shower.

-ABOUT THE PROPERTY- Amenities- Three bedroom, 5.5 bath home with a loft space that sleeps an additional 5 people! Master and guest rooms all have king beds and spa-like private baths. The loft space upstairs has 2 bunk beds and a twin with access to a hall bath with large tub as well as a bathroom downstairs. Large game room with shuffle board and pool table is great for congregating after a long day on the lake. Under the walkway to the dock there are multiple fishing structures and the best spot on PK to catch bass, crappie, and catfish. Be sure to bring your poles! 3 flat screen TVs (both living rooms and porch) make it a perfect spot for watching the game or catching up on Game of Thrones. An outdoor gas grill is included because cooking burgers indoors just isn’t the same. Lighted patio down below has a 6 person hot tub with fridge and a fireplace. Out in the yard there is a brand new horseshoe pit as well as corn hole. For the adventurous ones in your group we have provided two paddle boards for your enjoyment. The 2 story boat dock out in deep water has a rope swing, sunning deck, and fridge. Optional boat slip with electric lift will fit 23’ boat (must confirm ahead of time) Location- Back porch overlooks the section of PK Lake known as The Peninsula. Just steps from a shallow beach where you can wade out and enjoy a cold drink. The famous “Hell’s Gate” is just a short 5 minute boat ride and only 3 minutes away you can find 2 public boat ramps. Only a 5 minute car ride to the “Trading Post” our local grocery store and resort “The Harbor” where you can grab a tasty bite to eat at the Grille. Located on The Peninsula we are only 80 miles from Fort Worth and 100 miles from Dallas. AMENITIES-PK Resort has a wonderful 1000 sq. ft covered breezeway with a fireplace, flat screen TV and seating. The pool is shallow with a seating ledge for resting and conversing. The pool has water features. The spa seats 8 comfortably. Spa heating is included and remote controlled by guest. Pool heating is an additional charge of $100 per day. There is a professional gas grill off the kitchen for use. The game room has foosball, air hockey, 2 slot machines, and flat screen TV. 400+ count bed linens. JUST ADDED; A LAKESIDE WOOD BURNING FIREPIT. This is a private home with all amenities for you and your guests only. ACCOMODATIONS-PK Resort has 6 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor with no steps to go outside. Two bedrooms are on the second floor. There are two additional bedrooms in the guest apartment with a shared bath, living room, kitchen and laundry. The guest apartment is accessible from the second floor of the main house via a bridge across the breezeway. RESTRICTIONS- No bachelor or bachelorette parties. Minimum age for main renter is 30. Maximum number of guests is 20. Owner must approve any additional guests during the day. No guests under 21 without parent or legal guardian. On weekdays, please have volume of any music turned down after 10pm to respect neighbors. No smoking inside property. No glass by the pool. No pets allowed. ACTIVITIES-Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, golf (at the Cliffs). Boats, jet ski, paddle boats, and kayaks are available for rent nearby. DISCLAIMER-We can not control the depth or clarity of the lake water. Mother nature and the B.R.A. are in control. There is wildlife in the area. Please do not feed or hunt (illegal) the deer, wild turkeys or others you may see. The home is a smart home with exterior security cameras. They are in operation but not monitored. DVR can be accessed if there is a problem. We will not book any 1 night stays on weekends. We will consider them only for corporate events.
